Ellie joined Danielson Harrigan Leyh & Tollefson in 2007 after clerking for the Honorable Joel M. Penoyar in the Washington State Court of Appeals, Division II.  As Judge Penoyar’s Law Clerk, Ellie worked on over forty appellate cases, many involving complex commercial issues.

Ellie graduated cum laude from Seattle University School of Law, where she was the recipient of numerous academic scholarships and grants and was on the Board of Directors for the Center for Human Rights and Justice.  Prior to joining the firm, Ellie worked with the legal team at the Program for Appropriate Technology in Health (PATH), an international, nonprofit organization that creates sustainable, culturally relevant solutions, enabling communities worldwide to break longstanding cycles of poor health. She is currently a Pro Bono Attorney for Volunteer Advocates for Immigrant Justice (VAIJ).
