Chris was selected as a “Rising Star” by Washington Law & Politics for 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010. He has been involved in a variety of cases involving, among other things, securities transactions, contract disputes, breaches of fiduciary duties, trade secret misappropriation, construction defects and class actions. Since joining DHLT, he has worked on a number of matters for Fortune 500 companies, including leaders in the technology industry.
Chris also has significant experience serving as outside corporate counsel, advising boards of directors on corporate governance issues, diverse contract and real property disputes, and regulatory matters - particularly involving safety and financial reporting requirements for the petroleum pipeline industry.
After his first year of law school in 1997, Chris spent two years in Geneva, Switzerland, working as a law clerk for the International Claims Resolution Tribunal for Dormant (World War II-era) Swiss Bank Accounts. After returning to the states, he interned for the Honorable John C. Coughenour, then Chief Judge for the United States District Court for the Western District of Washington. From 2002 to 2005, Chris worked in Seattle as a litigation associate for the law firm of Mundt MacGregor.
